Next Los Angeles Zoo Protest: SUNDAY, Nov 8 from 10 to 12 noon

Almost everyone got taken to the zoo when they were growing up. Zoos are seen an enjoyable, benign activity, a way to get out of the house and go do something. Zoos are on most cities' lists of tourist attractions. Spending a few hours strolling around looking at animals in cages and concrete lined-enclosures has been normalized as fun.
