Every week in Saskatoon tens of thousands of chickens are brought to their deaths at just 6 weeks of age. Chickens are the most used and abused land animals on earth. Most of us have been raised to believe that their lives do not matter except as a food source. Selective breeding has forced their little bodies to grow really fast so that more and more chickens can be produced every day.
