Vigil at Pak Mecca, in honour of Jill Phipps

In memory of Jill Phipps’ death on this day in 1995, at a live exports demo, we will be bearing witness at Pak Mecca in Birmingham city centre. Just last week a truck driver at this slaughterhouse mocked the horrific accident that took Jill’s life so this location seems fitting for our tribute. Please bring flowers to leave at the slaughterhouse if you are able. We are all Jill just as she was us; we will never forget her.
