URGENT : Media Storm for Maryland’s dead racehorses - 2024

Through a recent FOIA request to the Maryland Racing Commission, we have now confirmed 13 racehorses killed at Maryland racetracks so far this year. The racing industry had every intention of hiding the deaths but we won’t let that happen. We need to continue to get media attention on this so even more of the public is aware just how cruel & lethal horseracing is. An average of 37 horses are killed at Maryland tracks each year.
