Please join local PETA supporters to help free Viola the elephant and urge Akdar Shrine Circus to stop using animals in its circuses!

Akdar Shrine Circus uses an elderly elephant, Viola, who has escaped from the circus at least three times. Viola is supplied by Carson & Barnes Circus, which has been cited for more than 100 violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act. A PETA investigation revealed that she was being forced to perform daily despite having chronically swollen feet and signs of other ailments that impacted her rear legs.
