Tucson Rodeo Protest- Opening Day

In Defense of Animals and the Tucson based animal rights group SPEAK are joining efforts to protest animal cruelty at the rodeo. The Tucson Rodeo started in 1925, making this year the 100th year of this abusive event. Activists will gather with banners, signs, leaflets, and megaphones to send a strong message to the public that animals are not entertainment and that it's long past time to end this outdated, cruel tradition.
