Stop Animal Gifting - Winter Holidays 2022

As the winter holidays approach, please join us in calling on charities who engage in animal gifting to stop doing so, and instead to switch and promote more sustainable gifts.

Animal gifting can lead to a plethora of unintended negative consequences including exacerbating the climate, ocean and biodiversity catastrophes, forest fires, extreme weather, flooding, disease outbreaks such as bird flu, health problems such as diabetes and heart disease, slaughterhouses in the community, and even childhood trauma.
