September Vigil for Horses

We are beginning a brand new campaign against horseracing here in Cleveland. Ohio is one of the only states that offers subsidies to racetracks, allowing these companies to make money off of the literal backs of these horses. At least 10 horses have died this season alone at Thistledown, with a yearly average of 13 dead horses per season. We will be calling attention to these facts. and reminding Cleveland that horseracing is not a sport, it is abuse.
