SAVE COMMUNITY CATS RALLY: MORE CAT DESEXING & EFFECTIVE EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT

SAVE COMMUNITY CATS: RALLY FOR MORE FUNDED DESEXING & EFFECTIVE EDUCATION & ENGAGEMENT SYDNEY
Martin Place start.
This rally is our second following the Aug 2025 rally & the outcomes from the NSW Inquiry Management of Cat Populations. We now seek more funding, and an increased scope for more councils to be involved as this will more rapidly provide benefits for owners and semi owners, cats and reduce impacts on wildlife through voluntary cat containment. Refer RSPCA NSW Supplementary document under the Inquiry, for detailed evidence of the success of their initiatives. And refer other domestic cat experts for: their findings and recommendations which also support the desexing and education/ behaviour change approaches; and support specific local research on domestic cats and impacts to wildlife, specific prioritised responses.
