Rally to Free Rose-Tu and baby Tula-Tu to Sanctuary

Join Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants and In Defense of Animals to urge the zoo to send mom Rose-Tu and baby to a sanctuary. Tula-Tu, the elephant calf born earlier this month, has been the latest victim of the captivity industry, with the memory of her sister Lily still fresh in our minds. Lily ended up dying of a common zoo-related disease before turning six. She died soon after three other elephants Tusko, Rama and Packy were euthanized in quick succession, and notably, all three suffered from tuberculosis as well. Breeding in zoos just condemns more far-roaming elephants to lifetimes in barren, deprived enclosures with no opportunity to experience their lives as the wild, free animals they were born to be. Join the rally and help to send the message that Rose-tu and baby deserve a better life in sanctuary.
