People attending this years Geelong Cup need to be reminded that nothing has changed in horse racing. Horrific injuries and deaths on track continue, at least two in the last racing year occurred at the Geelong track. Bo Rebellion collapsed and died when being beaten with the whip towards the finish line. Eagle Queen fell and suffered a "serious racing injury" so was killed. Both were four year old mares who were forced to race and lost their lives because of it.
