Protest Lagoon Animal Cruelty - Costume Optional

Weather should be a little more cooperative this weekend.

Lagoon Amusement Park has one of the most deplorable “zoos” in the country. Nearly 60 wild animals, including tigers, lions, and kangaroos, are crammed inside small wire and cement enclosures, pacing constantly in circles. When Lagoon patrons express their concern, Lagoon's latest template response says: "There is no scientific evidence that an animal can experience 'happiness' or 'sadness' as we know it." No wonder they are kept in such squalid conditions.
