Protest for Ova Charged at Ellis Park, KY

Ova Charged, “fell at the 16th pole and was euthanized” at Ellis August 3rd.

Ova Charged is one of the 26 horses that have been killed at Kentucky tracks, so far, this year.

But because Ova was a “star” (almost a million bucks in 19 races) and this was a big race ($250K stakes), her death was covered by the racing press.
