Protest at Orem City Hall: Stop Gas Chamber Killing of Dogs and Cats!

Please join Utah Animal Rights Coalition (UARC) to protest Orem's contract with North Utah Valley Animal Shelter (NUVAS), which still uses a gas chamber to kill dogs and cats. Animals killed in a gas chamber can take up to 30 minutes to die, where they will begin to suffer from the onset of carbon monoxide poisoning, including excruciating headaches, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. One shelter director said that she watched a dog "gasp for air for 10 minutes" in their gas chamber before dying.
