Outreach at ZooLights

We invite you to join Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants and In Defense of Animals for the annual ZooLights outreach, to show your support for and share the truth about the Oregon Zoo's 5 elephants who remain indoors for much of the winter as elephants are not suited to cold weather. Chendra and Shine are both suffering from worsening health conditions, even 16 year old Samudra has foot problems and Rose-Tu is pregnant with her third baby, which means if the baby lives, he or she will live out their life in the barren confines of the Oregon Zoo. Help us raise awareness and support to free these long-suffering elephants to sanctuary. We have signs and fliers, but of course your creative signs are always welcome. Meet near the entrance of the zoo and we recomment taking the MAX train, Please spread this event far and wide to get as many to the zoo as possible. Thank you!
