When wealthy corporations that are complicit in crimes against animals and humans spend hundreds of thousands of dollars prosecuting activists, they do so as a desperate attempt to repress anyone who tries to stop the harm they cause. The recent Perdue Rescue Trial is a powerful example of a criminal animal abuser trying to repress and scare people who care about animals so that we stop trying to save animals from the suffering that they are causing them. We can, and will, make all attempts to repress compassionate action backfire! At this Meetup we will discuss ways in which we can help animals in response to Zoe’s conviction and make commitments together to keep fighting for a world in which all animals are happy, safe, and free!
