Help us build a Community Ofrenda! ¡Ayúdanos A Construir Una Ofrenda Comunitaria!

Join Casa del Xolo for a community building event in preparation for Dia de los Muertos! We will be assembling our altar (or ofrenda) inside Lazy Cow Bakery. We've partnered with NARN (Northwest Animal Rights Network) in celebration of Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month. The ofrenda will be open the entire month of October, and will culminate with All Saints' Day on November 1st. After the building ceremony, the ofrenda will be open for anyone to place a photo or token of a loved one lost. In a time of deep reflection and mourning, we also make space for joy and celebration of the lives no longer with us. Join us on October 7th, and expect tamales, conchas and cumbia!
