Free Billy & Tina ZOO Protest

SATURDAY, Sept 6 from 10 to 12 noon

We will be advocating for Billy and Tina the former elephant inmates at the Los Angeles Zoo on Saturday! When the elephants were still in town we promised the zoo we were not going away until they were in sanctuary and NOT ANOTHER ZOO. Maybe zoo director Denise Verret doesnt understand being committed to the happiness and welfare of zooed animals - to her they are just ways to sell tickets and get a paycheck. But we have made a solemn commitment to fight for their freedom. So we will keep coming back until she figures out a way to get them out of the bleak Tulsa Zoo and LA commits to never allowing captive elephants within its boundaries again!
