With each passing day, the two remaining elephants at the Los Angeles Zoo are in more and more danger of having their small sad lives made even worse. For decades elephant experts and advocates have fought to have them moved to a sanctuary, a place of haven, healing, and peace. After the zoo unalived both Jewel and Shaunzi in '23 and '24, last May the City Council Motion gave it one month to say how the zoo would make Billy and Tina's lives better and safer. ONE YEAR LATER it responded by announcing they are not sending them to sanctuary but rather shipping them off to another zoo - in TULSA!
