Tell HSUS to Hire an Executive Director with Chimpanzee Experience at Project Chimps.

Throughout 2020, third party experts documented serious animal welfare deficiencies at Project Chimps, a sanctuary with 77 chimpanzees who were used in research. Most recently, renowned primatologist Steve Ross gave Project Chimps a 67% on its welfare management programs as part of an highly anticipated assessment he conducted at the sanctuary. This D grade corroborates allegations of poor animal welfare made by two dozen employees and volunteers.
