In 2020, Choice Hotels promised to put an end to the horrific practice of putting hens in battery cages for egg production—and yet here we are, on the brink of 2026 and they still haven’t followed through on their promise. And to make matters even worse, they’ve also removed the mention of their intended timeline (and any notes of progress) entirely from their website.
