Chicago, IL: Starbucks Week of Action Protest!

Join local advocates and PETA supporters to protest Starbucks for their vegan milk upcharge! This event is part of a Week of Action against Starbucks with events happening nationwide.

Female cows in the dairy industry are restrained and forcibly inseminated—workers insert an arm into their rectum and a metal rod to deliver semen into their vagina. Calves are torn away from their mothers, usually within a day of birth, which causes both extreme distress. Male calves are killed for veal, while females are sentenced to the same fate as their mothers before they’re eventually slaughtered.
