Banner Drop: Day of Mourning

Progress for Science has one tradition which we have kept going thru the years: letting folks rushing off to enjoy a day of feasting off of someone else's dead body while mocking the original inhabitants of what we now call the United States know what they are really particationg in and celebrating - animal genocide (45 million turkeys killed for this holiday every year) and human genocide (indigenous people have only death, disease, displacement to thank those "thankful" Pilgrims and their descendents for).
