lions in corporate welfare reforms\, particularly “cage-free” egg campaign
	s. Yet research suggests these systems offer limited welfare improvements\
, often perpetuate suffering\, and can create additional environmental har
ms and increased pandemic threats.\nBy increasing consumer trust in animal
farming\, these campaigns can risk perpetuating humanewashing and entrenc
hing and expanding animal exploitation and slaughter.\nIn Defense of Anima
ls is proud to join the Beyond Cage-Free Coalition in urging the Effective
Altruist Community and the AI industry to redirect philanthropic funding
toward plant-based food system transformation. This shift addresses animal
suffering at its root by reducing the number of animals forcibly bred int
o the food system\, while helping combat the climate crisis\, protect the
environment and wild animals\, improve public health\, prevent pandemics\,
	 and strengthen global food security.\nRegister Here:\n https://us02web.zo
