	justice. 50 years of Animal Liberation.\nIn 1976\, Animal Liberation began
	 challenging the exploitation of animals at a time when their suffering wa
	s widely ignored and accepted. To commemorate 50 years of being the first 
	animal rights organisation in Australia - and arguably the world - speakin
	g out for the rights of all species\, we are holding a 50th Anniversary di
	nner at Little Turtle restaurant in Enmore on Sunday 1 November\, which al
	so happens to be World Vegan Day.\nFor five decades\, Animal Liberation ha
	s challenged powerful industries\, exposed cruelty behind closed doors\, a
	nd given a voice to animals whose suffering would otherwise remain unseen.
	 Animal Liberation was the organisation that went “where angels fear to tr
	ead”\, bringing the plight of factory farmed animals\, live export\, anima
	l experimentation and animals used for “entertainment” in rodeos and circu
	ses to the public’s awareness for the first time.\nNone of this important 
	work has happened alone. For 50 years\, compassionate people like you have
	 stood alongside us - challenging injustice\, demanding meaningful change\
	, and refusing to accept cruelty in any form.\nYou’re invited to our 50th
