DTSTAMP:20261024T173635Z
DTSTART:20261106T233000Z

DESCRIPTION:Please join local PETA supporters to help free Okha and urge Lo
omis Bros. Circus to stop using animals in its circuses! Okha is an Asian
elephant who is about 56 years old and was captured from the wild in India
when she was just a baby. Okha’s handler\, Brian Franzen\, retired two ot
her elephants\, sparing them the constant travel\, abuse\, and confinement
of life in the circus. But Okha was left behind.\nOkha deserves to be fre
ed from her more than five decades of cruel circus captivity.\nRingling Br
os. and Barnum & Bailey Circus returned to the circus ring using only will
ing human participants\, and it’s time for Loomis Bros. Circus to follow s
	uit!\nHere are the details:\nWHEN:\nFriday\, November 6\, 6:30-8 p.m.\nSat
	urday\, November 7\, 6:30-8 p.m.\nSunday\, November 8\, 5-6:30 p.m.\nWHERE
	: Bradford County Fairgrounds - 2302 N Temple Ave\, Starke\, FL 32091\n(Pl
ease see this map for the exact meeting location: https://maps.app.goo.gl
/vAXN86Ve5a3VRBLn8 )\nCONTACT: Wendy at WendyF@peta.org or Amanda at Amand
aB@peta.org\nWe have a required dress code! Please dress sharply in a PETA
T-shirt\, nice black pants/shorts\, and closed-toed shoes. We must ensure
that the focus remains on the animals without any distractions that could
shift people’s attention. T-shirts will be available on-site for everyone
.\nAll materials\, such as posters and leaflets\, will be provided.\nPleas
e refrain from bringing dogs\, as there might not be a comfortable place f
or them to lie down during the protest.\nOutreach events are a fun and eff
ective way to help animals and meet local advocates\, so be sure to invite
others!\nWe hope to see you there!
