DESCRIPTION:Ontario has officially passed a historic law banning most invas
	ive medical research on dogs and cats! Because labs can no longer conduct 
	invasive medical research on dogs and cats once the law takes effect on Ja
	nuary 1\, 2027\, they must give surviving animals a second chance at life.
	 \nAnimal Justice is aware of at least six labs in Ontario that have recen
	tly experimented on dogs or cats. \nWe wrote to these labs\, urging them t
	o have compassion and commit to rehoming any dogs and cats before the Janu
	ary 1 deadline\, and offered to help. Many refused to meet\, or to commit 
	to a rehoming plan.\nNow\, animal advocates are taking action! We're organ
	izing protests across Ontario to demand that these labs rehome surviving d
	ogs and cats instead of killing them.\nJoin us at Kingfisher International
	 to urge decision makers to commit to a rehoming plan. With multiple rescu
	e groups already prepared to house dogs and cats from these labs\, there i
	s no excuse for them not to do the right thing.\nThis landmark provincial 
	ban was won after Animal Justice exposed secret dog cardiac experiments at
