DTSTART:20261109T160000Z
DTEND:20261109T180000Z
DESCRIPTION:Please join local PETA supporters for a peaceful protest at the
grand opening of Raising Cane's in Ventura.\nLet’s come together to stand
up for chickens and raise awareness about the horrific suffering these an
imals go through before ending up in fast-food bags. Chickens are among th
e most abused animals on the entire planet. In the United States alone\, a
pproximately 9 billion chickens are killed for their flesh each year. The
vast majority of these animals spend their entire lives in confinement—fro
m the moment they hatch until the day they are slaughtered.\nPlease join u
s to speak up for chickens and encourage everyone to go vegan!\nDETAILS:\n
	WHEN: Monday\, November 9\, 2026\, 8AM - 10AM PST\nWHERE: Raising Cane's -
	 4214 E Main St\, Ventura\, CA 93003 (Please see map here: https://maps.a
	pp.goo.gl/mJAUA7c57HGUWXgDA )\nCONTACT: Joseph at JRondou@peta.org\nAll ma
	terials\, such as posters\, will be provided.\nPlease dress sharply in a P
ETA T-shirt (we will provide one if you don't already own one)\, nice pant
s\, and close-toed shoes. We must ensure the focus remains on the animals\
, without any distractions that could divert people’s attention.\nNO COMPA
NION ANIMALS. Please refrain from bringing dogs\, as there might not be a
comfortable place for them to lie down during the protest.\nWe hope to see
	 you there!
