DESCRIPTION:In his latest documentary\, Ghost Elephants\, Werner Herzog con
tinues the tradition of blending obsession\, mystery\, and the strange bea
uty of the natural world. Created for National Geographic\, the film follo
ws a fascinating and almost mythical search deep in the forests of Angola.
For more than a decade\, conservation biologist Steve Boyes\, a National
Geographic Explorer\, has been pursuing the legend of a mysterious herd kn
own as the Ghost Elephants. These animals are said to live in the remote h
ighlands of Angola\, hidden in dense forests and rarely seen by humans. Fo
r years\, they have existed somewhere between science and folklore.\nFree
screening. Vegan snacks provided. Feel free to bring vegan potluck items t
	o share. Discussion afterwards.\nRSVP required: https://www.meetup.com/ve
