DESCRIPTION:The Anti-Vivisection Alliance (TAVA) is hosting the 4th Annual 
	Anti-Vivisection World Protest. This is Calgary's first year participating
	. We are part of a global movement of over 50 cities around the world that
	 are uniting to send the clear message that there is no excuse for animal 
	research. \nThis is a peaceful sign-holding and leafleting demonstration o
	n the sidewalk along 16th Ave outside the front of Foothills Hospital and 
	University of Calgary Medical  Campus. These facilities conduct research w
	here innocent animals are the victims of cruel and unnecessary experiments
	. \nPlease join us as we stand against animal testing\, educate the public
	 and encourage kinder choices. Animal testing is unacceptable\, not only b
	ecause of the inhumane\, cruel and invasive procedures used\, but also bec
	ause over 95% of animal testing becomes ineffective when advanced to human
	 subjects and because there are numerous non-animal protocols available to
	 research personnel. \nPlease join us in solidarity to honour the many inn
	ocent souls who have suffered and died in the name of "science." Signs and
	 leaflets will be provided.\nWe will stand along the sidewalk facing 16 Av
	enue outside the front of Foothills Hospital and the University of Calgary
