DESCRIPTION:Anti-Animal-Use Advocacy Event\nJoin us speaking up for the ani
mals this Saturday\, between 10:30am and 2pm\, meeting on the corner of SW
5th Ave & SW Morrison St\, in front of the Pioneer Place Mall \nWe are An
ti-Animal-Use—a collective of abolitionist activists committed to ending t
he exploitation of all sentient beings.\nWe believe that sentience—not spe
cies—grants the right to bodily autonomy\, freedom\, and protection from h
uman caused exploitation. Our activism is rooted in the simple truth that
using someone against their will is oppression—no matter how it is disguis
ed.\nWe engage the public in conversations that ask:\nAre you living in al
ignment with your moral principles?\nIf you’re against oppression and expl
oitation\, why participate in systems that violates animals inherent right
s and depends on their use for taste\, fashion\, entertainment\, or cosmet
ics?\nWhen we consider the perspective of the victim\, the violence become
s undeniable.\nWe advocate for veganism as the moral baseline—the only eth
ical way to live without demanding the use\, abuse\, or killing of others.
\nWe oppose all forms of exploitation\, oppression\, and arbitrary discrim
ination—human or nonhuman. We strive to honor the dignity of all sentient
beings\, to hold ourselves accountable\, to learn from our mistakes\, and
to do better—together.\nWe have different options for advocating. We have
some TV screens that play dominion. We have nongraphic signs that draw cur
ious people in to answer a few questions. If you are comfortable with talk
ing with people\, remember to do so in a calm kind manor. Bring focus to t
he victims perspective and remain curious about the other person's perspec
tive. \n**BEFORE ATTENDING**\nPLEASE REVIEW group google file link below f
or flowcharts. \nFlowcharts are also in file tab of our Facebook group.\nT
he flowcharts in the Facebook group's file tab (or AAUA Google Drive) are
for support in your outreach. You do not need to follow them\, but they ar
e there if you get stuck. \nIt's good to review a few of the flowcharts be
fore the event so you are confident when you are talking with the public.
\nYou don't need to memorize anything it's just good to be prepared for qu
	estions.\n**Link to Google Drive Flowcharts:\n https://drive.google.com/dr

nThe Most Logical Arguments AGAINST Veganism (In 10 Minutes) by Ed Winters
	\n**Link: \n https://youtu.be/rS0F4WeG0eo?si=HqmCbCEgdMhJxZ-s \nIt's only
10min and goes over common arguments against veganism.\nEverything's provi
ded--just show up ready to speak from the victim's perspective.\nTime to s
tand for the animals. All vegans are welcome!\nYou can find the AAUA Faceb
	ook group here:\n https://www.facebook.com/groups/antianimaluse/ \nAnd the
ARCPDX Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/arcpdx/ \nPl
ease feel free to reach out any questions about the event or group.\nMasks
\, screens\, and signs will be provided by the organizers.\nLet's stand to
gether and respect the dignity of sentient life.\nAnimals lose their lives
when we stay silent. They deserve immediate liberation from all human-cau
sed exploitation. Veganism is the moral baseline. The least we can do is s
top participating in the injustice. \nActivism is the action beyond just a
bstaining from injustice. Activism is actively pushing for the end of inju
stice. \nWe are stronger with you.\nWe welcome all\; even if you are late
or or can't stay for the whole event.\n PSU Garages / Lots (Cheapest & Clo
