	\nThe Animal Activist Legal Defense Project is hosting an online Know Your
	 Rights training on April 15\, 2026\, at 6:30 PM Central Time for the Anim
	al Rights Coalition.\nThis training will provide you with a basic toolkit 
	to effectively assert your constitutional rights while engaging in protest
	s advocating for animals. Interacting with law enforcement can be an inevi
	table part of campaigning. While no training can avoid every negative inte
	raction\, effectively asserting your rights minimizes the risks of unwante
	d legal entanglements\, both allowing you to be more confident as an activ
	ist and keeping your time and energy focused where it is needed: those who
	 need our voices. Our trainings are based on general constitutional princi
	ples and are designed to provide an easy-to-remember and easy-to-use appro
	ach to best protecting your rights while advocating for change.\n--\nThis

	investigators\, and whistleblowers who bring attention to the conditions i
